You are in a difficult situation and you do not know where to live? Do not panic, the emergency accommodation system offers several thousands of places in Paris. Call 115 for more information (freephone).

A useful telephone number: 115

115 is a free phone emergency number managed by the Samu social (Service d'aide médicale urgent – mobile emergency medical service for homeless people) in Paris. By calling this number, you can find out where there are accommodation places available. If you have an urgent health problem, the Samu social doctors will also be able to direct you to a health centre. Accessible 24/7.

The Centre d’action sociale de la Ville de Paris (C.A.S.V.P. – Paris City Hall social action centre) manages three centres in Paris:

• The Crimée centre for homeless women between 18 and 65 years of age, without children every day from 10pm to 8am. Admissions are allocated solely by calling 115 or by the Halte-Femmes assistance centre for women in the 12th arrondissement.

• The George-Sand centre for homeless men between 18 to 27 years of age, 24/7. Admissions by social and public services and associations.
5 bis Rue Stendhal, 20th arrondissement

• The Baudricourt centre in the 13th arrondissement for homeless men between 28 and 65 years of age. Admissions every day from 5.30pm to 8pm, upon proposals from the social welfare office or from social and public services and associations.
15 Rue Baudricourt, 13th arrondissement

The Emmaüs association offers several categories of accommodation centres:

The Emmaüs association also has social welfare residences and family boarding houses in the 9th, 18th and 20th arrondissements. Admission is allocated through social welfare reports.

- Three social welfare hostels also offer housing solutions: in the 10th, 20th and 14th arrondissements. Here also, admission is allocated through social welfare reports.

- Emmaüs is also in charge of eight emergency accommodation centres. Only one (in the 13th) is reserved for women. For admissions, you must call 115 or contact a social worker.

The Salvation Army has housing solutions:
